On 5 August 2022, partners Damien Geason and Anna Grant were very proud to be invited to move the admissions of Butler McIntyre & Butler’s newest lawyers, Denice Chang, Mahum Akbar, Phillipa Atkinson, Courtney Shaw and Mathew See. The Admission to the Supreme Court marks the end of the journey of study and commitment to becoming a lawyer. Denice, Mahum, Phillipa, Courtney and Mathew are now all officers of the Court, which brings with it a duty to the Court, duty to their clients and a duty to obey the law.
