Areas of Practice:
Amie commenced legal practice at Butler McIntyre & Butler in 2026. Amie is able to assist clients with family law parenting and property matters, and she enjoys appearing in the Federal Circuit and Family Court of Australia.
Amie’s focus is on providing clients with practical, effective solutions to support clients after separation and advocate for them to find workable long-term solutions.
Prior to joining the firm, Amie was Deputy Associate to Judge Turnbull at the Federal Circuit and Family Court of Australia in Hobart and Launceston. During her time in this role, she found a passion for family and relationships law and gained valuable knowledge about court advocacy, preparation of judgments and judicial decision making.
Outside of work, Amie enjoys playing hockey, reading, and exploring new cafes in Hobart.
