Sheryl was admitted to practice in Tasmania in 2020 and joined Butler McIntyre & Butler in 2021.
Prior to joining Butler McIntyre & Butler, Sheryl worked as a criminal lawyer at community legal centres and as a duty lawyer at the Hobart Magistrates Court. She now primarily works as a criminal lawyer, representing clients who face summary, indictable, and commonwealth criminal charges. With experience in resolving matters without the need for a hearing and also taking matters to a summary defended hearing or to jury trials, Sheryl will be able to assist you with criminal charges in Tasmanian Supreme Courts and Magistrates Courts. She can also assist clients with Restraint Order Applications and Family Violence Order Applications.
Sheryl also practices in administrative law, particularly in NDIS appeals to the Administrative Reviews Tribunal and to the Administrative Appeals Tribunal.
In her spare time, Sheryl enjoys reading books, writing, playing video games, and going to local markets.
