Areas of Practice:
After her graduation, Shelby completed her practical legal training and was admitted to the Supreme Court of Tasmania in 2016. Shelby practised at another Hobart law firm for two and a half years before joining Butler McIntyre & Butler in 2019. She became a partner of Butler McIntyre & Butler in 2024.
Shelby is a part of the Property and Commercial Transactions team and works predominantly in areas of estate planning, estate administration and commercial law. She is experienced in commercial leases, business sales, trust law, complex estate planning and assisting with administration of estates. Shelby is currently a member of the Law Society’s Estate and Succession Law Committee.
Shelby provides her clients with effective and accessible advice to ensure that their matters proceed as smooth as possible and the client receives a satisfactory outcome.
In her free time, Shelby enjoys travelling, cooking and watching her beloved Geelong Cats.
