Areas of Practice:
Hayden commenced legal practice with Butler McIntyre & Butler in 2025 whilst completing his Graduate Diploma of Legal Practice. Hayden was admitted as a lawyer of the Supreme Court of Tasmania in August 2025. Hayden was awarded the Peter Dixon Memorial Prize which is awarded to a trainee of the Tasmanian Legal Practice Course who displayed the qualities of collegiality, willingness to support others, and a demonstrated commitment to developing and improving legal skills.
Hayden works in the areas of civil litigation, dispute resolution and criminal law. He assists clients through all stages of the legal process for practical, cost-effective outcomes. Hayden also regularly appears in the Hobart Supreme Court, and the Hobart Magistrates Court as part of the criminal law team.
Outside of work, Hayden enjoys playing basketball, going to concerts, cooking, and spending time with friends and family.
