Andrew commenced legal practice at Butler McIntyre & Butler shortly after being admitted to the Supreme Court of Tasmania in 2017 and the High Court of Tasmania in 2018. Andrew became Partner at Butler McIntyre & Butler in 2024.
Andrew is a member of the Litigation & Dispute Resolution team and practises across a broad range of areas, particularly specialising in securities enforcement, debt recovery, insolvency law, personal injury and medical negligence. Andrew’s extensive practise sees him act for national financial institutions, large corporations as well as medium to small businesses and individuals. Andrew also takes referral work from mainland law firms, which are generally commercial or civil disputes.
Andrew regularly appears as solicitor and counsel before the Supreme Court of Tasmania, Federal Court and Magistrates Court. Andrew has a reputation for his commercial judgment and practical approach to achieve solutions in an effective and efficient manner.
