Areas Of Practice:

Jake commenced legal practice at Butler McIntyre & Butler in 2017 shortly after graduating from the University of Tasmania.

Jake is a member of the criminal law and litigation & dispute resolution teams. He regularly appears in the Magistrates Court and Supreme Court in relation to both privately funded and legally aided Criminal matters.

Jake maintains a broad practice, however, he has a particular focus on summary crime, including Restricted Driver Licence applications, indictable crime, youth justice matters, restraint order applications and family violence matters, including Family Violence Orders.

Jake strives to provide his clients with the best possible result.

Jake is an active member of the Southern Young Lawyers Committee. He has a keen interest in international relations, and in his down time enjoys playing guitar, attending live music events, and getting out and about with his friends and family.
