Anne joined Butler, McIntyre & Butler in 1984. She specialises in the areas of property law, commercial law, wills and estates. Matters that Anne advises on include commercial and residential property, acquisitions and sales, property developments and subdivisions, business acquisitions and sales, business structures, wills and estate planning and the administration of estates.
Anne graduated from the University of Tasmania with a Bachelor of Laws and has continued her study; completing a Diploma of Corporate Management (Dip CM).
She is a barrister and solicitor of the Supreme Court of Tasmania and the High Court of Australia and has been an accredited mediator with the Law Society of Tasmania and with LEADR.
Anne acts for a wide range of individual clients and corporate clients across many industries including banking, finance, health and resources.
Anne was the inaugural chairman of the Retail Tenancies Monitoring Committee and was a member of the Tasmanian ASIC Liaison Committee from 2005 to 2017. She is involved with several not for profit organisations, notably having served as State Commissioner of Girl Guides Tasmania, chair of the Board of St Michael’s Collegiate School and Deputy Chairman of the Board of Anglicare Tasmania Inc. She is currently Chairman of the Trustees of the Diocese of Tasmania.
